Friday TRUTH, NOT FICTION Flash 55

Mr. Parole Man wearily settles into his chair, and eyes the stack of parole applications.

Three more years and he will retire to the cottage on Bear Lake, fishing and sunsets.

He vaguely remembers the kid in the top file; he picks up the red stamp and comes down hard on the application:
